Jour 4 - Voyage Berlin - Terminales Euro

Pour cette dernière journée, nos élèves ont exploré le centre-ville de Berlin, à la découverte de son architecture, de son histoire et surtout de sa richesse culturelle.

Moment fort de la journée : la visite de la Berlinische Galerie, avec ses collections d’art moderne et contemporain et son exposition actuelle consacrée au mouvement Dada, qui a permis aux élèves de découvrir une autre facette de l’histoire culturelle européenne.

La journée s’est poursuivie avec un passage par Checkpoint Charlie, symbole de la guerre froide, puis par Unter den Linden, grande avenue marquée par l’héritage néoclassique de la Prusse et de l’Empire allemand. Enfin, direction Alexanderplatz, dont l’architecture et l’urbanisme portent l’empreinte de la période communiste et de la RDA.

Cette dernière journée a aussi marqué la fin des différents challenges organisés pendant le séjour : félicitations aux gagnants… et surtout à tous les élèves, qui ont été formidables tout au long de la semaine.

For this final day, our students explored Berlin’s city centre, discovering its architecture, history and vibrant cultural life.

A highlight of the day was the visit to the Berlinische Galerie, where students explored its modern and contemporary art collections as well as the current exhibition dedicated to the Dada movement, offering insight into an important moment of European cultural history.

The day continued with a stop at Checkpoint Charlie, a powerful symbol of the Cold War, followed by a walk along Unter den Linden, the grand boulevard shaped by the neoclassical legacy of Prussia and the German Empire. Finally, the group visited Alexanderplatz, whose architecture and urban planning reflect the influence of the communist era and the former GDR.

This final day also marked the end of the different challenges organised during the trip. Congratulations to the winners — and above all to all the students, who were outstanding throughout the week.
