Jour 2 et 3 - Voyage à Berlin - Terminales Euro

Le deuxième jour, nous avons commencé par la visite de la prison de la Stasi. Nous avons eu l’occasion d’explorer l’intérieur de cette prison et d’en apprendre davantage sur son histoire, notamment grâce au témoignage d’un ancien détenu.

Après un pique-nique, Julien et Isabelle nous ont fait découvrir l’histoire de la construction du mur de Berlin et nous ont partagé des anecdotes insolites liées à l’exil. En marchant le long des vestiges du mur, nous avons continué à construire le monde de demain.

Aujourd’hui, ce mur est un moyen d’expression. Nous sommes donc allés à l’East Side Gallery pour admirer les fresques et en reproduire certaines.

Sur le chemin du retour vers le bus, nous avons rencontré un chanteur le long de la Spree. Ensemble, nous avons chanté : « Alors, je me réveille le matin et je sors. Je prends une grande inspiration et je plane. Et je crie à pleins poumons. Que se passe-t-il ? ». Ainsi, d’une seule voix, nous avons ressenti l’importance de résister et de lutter, comme pendant la Guerre froide, ici même à Berlin.

Ce mercredi nous avons roulé jusqu’à Potsdam au sud de la capitale pour une courte mais reposante randonnée dans la forêt où nous avons beaucoup marché avec Ms Pimentel!!!

Après y avoir pique niqué nous avons continué notre chemin vers le château de Sanssouci que nous avons visité puis nous avons profité de ses grands jardins ensoleillés.

C’est ainsi que nous avons terminé notre journée à Potsdam et que nous sommes rentrés nous reposer chez nos familles d’accueil.

On the second day, we began with a visit to the Stasi prison. We had the opportunity to explore the interior of this prison and learn about its history, including from a former prisoner.

After a picnic, Julien and Isabelle took us on a journey through the history of the construction of the Berlin Wall and shared some unusual stories related to exile. Walking along the demolished wall, we continue to build the world of tomorrow.

Today, this wall is used as a means of expression. So we went to the East Side Gallery to admire these murals and reproduce some of the works. 

On our way back to the bus, we met a singer along the Spree. Together, we sang « And so, I wake in the morning and I step outside. And I take a deep breath and I get real high. And I scream from the top of my lungs. What’s going on?’ ». In this way, with one voice, we were able to feel the importance of resisting and fighting, just as during the Cold War, here in Berlin.

On Wednesday, we went on a trip to Potsdam at the south of Berlin, where we had a short yet relaxing walk in the forest in which we walked a lot with Ms Pimentel!!!

After lunch we continued our journey in Potsdam to the Schloss Sanssouci which we visited and then had a laid back walk in it’s sunny gardens. 

Last but not least we drove back to our host families to relax after our long day in Potsdam.
